A near-perfect ‘50s Chevy panel van and a very desirable low-mileage ‘80s Brooklands Capri tempt auctioneer Derek out of Yorkshire, but traffic chaos on the way to Wales puts him way behind schedule. "I can't be late, I've got no pyjamas" ...says a worried Derek as he realises he is going to have to overnight across the border. Safely back in Yorkshire, he evaluates the cars ahead of the auction - two of the best he has seen. The vehicles' owners have high expectations, the reserves are top end - and the auction is days away. The summer brings an increase in business for Yorkshire classic car auctioneers. To keep pace, the Mathewsons introduce their new "multiple classic collection plan", much to the amusement of office manager Sarah. Dave sets off to collect a Triumph TR6, a Lotus Cortina and a Mini Mayfair wedding car and bring them back to the auction house.
