Apopia - The Broken Crown

An educational short film featuring the character of Luxo Jr. demonstrating the concept of "front" and "back."

Amateur animation by 20-year-old Hikeaki Anno (Neon Genesis Evangelion) while he was studying at Osaka University of Arts. The short features a speeding car with physics-defying tires.

Seeing Snowflake outside the window on a frosty day, the Hedgehog clung to the glass so that his nose looked like a piglet's. Snowflake mistook him for a pig in a spiky fur coat and invited him to play outside.

An old man is followed around by a flower.

Special "back-side" (ura) short which features the background story from the party's side instead of Jil's.

The chalk-drawing animated film is based on Richard Brautigan’s novel: „Revenge of the lawn”. This is a remembrance, the story of a childhood memory about grandma’ and grandpa’. After the death of grandpa’, Jack took over the domesticities, and delivered grandma’s bourbon on his truck. Grandma’s whisky served as a salutary refreshment during prohibition times. Her house wore the traces of two accidents. The film tells the story of these accidents.

It's breakfast time, and Pa finds the honeypot empty. Literally risking life and limb, he has Junyer help him raid a nearby beehive. In the end, he finds he should have listened to Ma in the first place, rather than telling her to "Shaddap!"

Out of work, Woody complains about his not having any living quarters. A slick talking con man convinces him to buy some "magic beans" promising they will guarantee him a home. Sure enough, Woody climbs the resulting beanstalk and finds a huge castle at the top. Unfortunately, the castle is already occupied by a sleeping giant who Woody eventually outwits, turning his castle into a series of apartments with the giant as a bellboy and Woody as his manager.

A rooster is unable to get worms; the other chickens either get there first or trick him out of the worms. But there's one worm nobody else competes for, because it's a trickster.

The fumes emanating from a traffic jam make everybody, and every animal, cough.
