A resilient clam diver lives way she wants despite hostile villagers and the various men that share her bedroom.

A couple arrive by boat to a small fishing village where women dive for seafood. He is returning from a trip and he brings his latest girlfriend, a former hostess, with him. This causes jealousy with a local diver, a woman he had relationship with before he left. Meanwhile the other female divers find ways to satisfy themselves after a hard days work.

Hayashi Taro is still a high school student, but lives in Tokyo with Yuko, who works at a no-pan coffee shop. Shigeya Yoshida, an architectural designer in Yokohama, likes June and goes to hotels. The plot has pretty, middle-class Caucasian girls (college students, runaways etc.) being kidnapped right of the streets of Zurich and Montreal(!), and after being beaten, raped, and hooked on heroin, they are sent to Amsterdam to work as zombified strippers and prostitutes in a nightclub called the Moulin Rouge. A female reporter is investigating the disappearance of one girl and ends up on the trail of the slavers.
