A Human Position

John, a first-time filmmaker, finds himself in Lansing, Michigan to present his film at a local film festival. Vince, his high school friend who is now a volunteer fireman and small-time drug dealer, also visits the town to support John on his big day, or so it seems. After a raucous hello and much backslapping, it appears that there is an undercurrent of tension in the air.

A Distant Cry from Spring (TV Movies). After Tamiko Kazami 's husband passes away, she works their dairy farm. People around her oppose her, but she places her cattle out to pasture which her late husband insisted. Tamiko's situation is not very good. Ukrainian refugee Sofiy living in Edinburgh with a host couple Martin and Emilly becomes homeless when the couple who are struggling with the cost of living crisis is forced to 'kick' her out after six months of sheltering her in their study. Homeless and jobless, Sofiy finds a diamond ring in a public washing machine and her decision to do with the diamond ring becomes a life-changing move for her.

Three friends reunite in Athens after struggling abroad. They think of a business idea but quickly realise that not everything goes as planned. When they reach out to a lawyer friend for help, they find that we are all on our own.

Alma still has the memory of Duna in her memory, but one day she meets a person who really loves her.

A young Greek man goes to Paris seeking help from a solitary and almost misanthropic distant relative who works as a furrier. With him, he takes nothing from his homeland but a photograph of a woman that he finds on the pavement. A misunderstanding regarding the photograph sets off a series of dramatic misunderstandings which trap him in a vicious circle of lies and fantasies.

A high-school track star (Nick Stahl) watches without judgment as his two best friends (Summer Phoenix, Aaron Paul) abuse heroin.

In the present, artist Tom Warshaw recalls his traumatic coming of age. As a 13-year-old growing up in New York City in 1973, Tom hangs out with Pappass, a mentally disabled man. With Tom's mother battling depression after the death of her husband, the young boy is left to his own devices. When Tom develops a crush on schoolmate Melissa, Pappass feels abandoned and begins behaving erratically.
