Any doubt that Alex de Renzy was one of the greatest adult film directors of all time should surely be dashed by this tape. This is Alex in the latter half of his career, less motivated and shooting on video rather than film. The features excerpted predate his "Rex Borsky" era by a couple of years, but the inherent cheapness in already in evidence. And you know what? This is still more watchable and compelling than most of its SOV brethren of the era, and still holds up today. Alex could pull out both quirky acting performances and dynamic sexual performances, and it's fully on display here. Early attention is given to clips from THE GHOSTESS WITH THE MOSTESS and PROM GIRLS, but the whole thing is a lot of fun and a great "party tape."
