The best staff in the Japanese film industry has gathered together to create this realistic horror film, which is composed of footage submitted by the general public and recreated footage featuring actresses. The film looks at a friend request from a cursed high school girl, "Noro-jo," who is rumored to be a curse on a certain social networking site, and a haunted experience that attacked a couple on a road trip.

A young couple on a fishing trip with their son decide to explore an area of remote wilderness known as the Stickman’s Hollow. Told through the surviving pieces of footage from their fateful trip, the film documents the family’s vacation as they are mercilessly hunted in the forest by an unknown force, and the dark past of the hollow is brought to light.

As the distraught student Tobias is incapable of making a statement, the investigator in charge confronts him with the gruesome truth: the video recordings that reveal what happened to Tobias and his four friends when they ignored all warnings and got lost in a sealed-off forest area.
