The Marx Brothers Filmation Pilot

Filmation's 1966 pilot for a proposed series titled 'The New Marx Brothers Show'. The series was to consist of 156 seven-minute animated shorts. "100 years ago BC – that’s before credit cards" sets the stage for Groucho, Chico, and Harpo’s Wild West misadventures. When an Indian chief demands his daughter marry a man resembling The Great Stoneface—who happens to look exactly like Groucho—the brothers find themselves dodging cavalry, conning customers with a traveling medicine show, and defending an abandoned fort in true Marx Brother chaos.
