The footage for I Want to Be a Secretary has been reclaimed and reworked from a selection of all but forgotten post-war recruitment films encouraging the modern girl to pursue a secretarial career. What other path is open to an independent-minded young lady after all? What are the secrets of the boardroom? And what is the meaning of the firm-but-fair Miss Ingall's mysterious smile? Our plucky young career gal heroine is about to find out.

Ada, a reserved young woman with a passion for entomology, travels north with Marissa, her free-spirited musician girlfriend. Written and directed by Debbie Goodstein, MIGHTY FINE is told from the perspective of an adult Nathalie remembering the events of her youth, and is inspired by Goodstein's memories of her own father. MIGHTY FINE ultimately shows how coming to terms with the past without judgment is the most fruitful way to move toward the future.

Chaurahen (Crossroads), a film directed by Rajshree Ojha, who previously directed Aisha, in addition to two other popular specialty projects, boasts an impressive ensemble cast that includes Soha Ali Khan, Victor Banerjee, veteran Bollywood actress Zeenat Aman, and Kiera Chaplin, granddaughter of the silent film superstar Charlie Chaplin. The film is an adaptation of short stories by celebrated author Nirmal Verma. Ojha describes the three vignettes that comprise Chaurahen as “snippets of collected photographs, bringing together similar disconnected people trying to find their path.”

Still, she tries to help but Joy plunges into deeper despair due to her family problems. One day, the torment becomes unbearable and Joy breaks down. Things look bleak for the both of them until a friend makes good on an old promise and brings them all within sight of happiness again.
