Nagarvadhu movie is about the story of Sukanya (Vani Viswanath) who is born in a pious Brahmin household as the eldest of three daughters, is a medical student. She is to marry her lover and neighbour Sethu Raman. But when Sethu Raman is hit and killed by a jeep and when Sukanya is abducted and later arrested on charges of prostitution, things take a totally new turn for her.Sukanya is married off to Sreeharshan.

Kaliyoonjal movie portrays a brother to a disturbed sister. The sister, played by Shalini, is mentally disturbed if any thing goes against her will. She is possessive of her brother and creates a havoc when she gets angry. Enter Shobhana who marries Mammootty and Dileep, who plays Shobhana's brother and marries Shalini, and problems start up in the family.

Ramakrishna (Chiranjeevi) is a mechanic whose life changes when he meets Priya (Anjala Zaveri) at a train station. She sees him and feels some inexplicable connection and runs away with him to flee her father, Mahendra's (Prakash Raj) goons. They end up living in the forest with their son, but her father, who is an underworld don, kidnaps her so that he can marry her off to another don's son. Ramakrishna confronts her father and in the ensueing struggle Priya takes the bullet shot at her husband and dies. Their son, because of the shock, loses his voice and Ramakrishna is jailed. Mahendra takes the boy away to Kolkata, where the story originally started. Rama Krishna with the help of Padmavathi (Soundarya) reunites with his son.

Sujatha, a lecturer, stands up against the dowry system when a rich man comes to her house with a marriage proposal. But she doesn't have the support of her family and her actions have serious consequences.

Big Boss is a action oreinted movie in which, Surendra (Chiranjeevi) landing in a town for a job. He witnesses rivalry between two mafia gangs at that place. After a fight with a street goon, he is recognized by one gang and encouraged to become a don. He rents a room in Madhavi

S.P.Parshuram is an action oriented movie in which, Parshuram (Chiranjeevi) is a police official who is very rash and is willing to arrest his own family for the sake of the law. Harish, his brother, is caught in a blue film gang, and Sridevi, a common thief, almost becomes a victim but manages to escape. Because she is a witness, she is later assaulted and becomes blind. Rest of the movie is about how Parshuram recues his family from gangsters.

Bose is a very patriotic man who fights for the rights of the local market workers against Aatma, the nearby underworld don. Bose joins politics to clean the bad elements of society. However, when his sister dies because of an evil underworld gangster, Aatma, he seeks revenge on him.
