Venu, a violinist enters in a contract to marry the daughter of a wealthy industrialist. The girl has a fatal health problem.

Ramakrishna (Chiranjeevi) is a mechanic whose life changes when he meets Priya (Anjala Zaveri) at a train station. She sees him and feels some inexplicable connection and runs away with him to flee her father, Mahendra's (Prakash Raj) goons. They end up living in the forest with their son, but her father, who is an underworld don, kidnaps her so that he can marry her off to another don's son. Ramakrishna confronts her father and in the ensueing struggle Priya takes the bullet shot at her husband and dies. Their son, because of the shock, loses his voice and Ramakrishna is jailed. Mahendra takes the boy away to Kolkata, where the story originally started. Rama Krishna with the help of Padmavathi (Soundarya) reunites with his son.

Nagarvadhu movie is about the story of Sukanya (Vani Viswanath) who is born in a pious Brahmin household as the eldest of three daughters, is a medical student. She is to marry her lover and neighbour Sethu Raman. But when Sethu Raman is hit and killed by a jeep and when Sukanya is abducted and later arrested on charges of prostitution, things take a totally new turn for her.Sukanya is married off to Sreeharshan.

In his sickness, Madhavan expresses his wish to meet his niece, Ammukutty, Ammu arrives and took care of her dying uncle. Madhavan's children except Rajan leaves as Ammu was there to look after their father. Rajan remembers his young days of romance with Ammu.

Raghu kills Barghavan as revenge for his brother's death. Kochubaby, who comes to know that he is the son of Barghavan, takes up the blame for his father's mistake.
