Mister X is the head of an international smuggling ring in Chicago and arrives in Cairo to practice his activity. The police know about him and begin to watch him. The police exploit the great resemblance between X and the airport employee Zaki, so they exploit him in their mission, and the events follow in a comic form.

When Kadry El Meniawy becomes the minister of Youth and sports, the attractive woman Anita from Denmark comes to Egypt for cultural exchange between the two countries. As she stays at the minister's villa, his sons try to get close to her while he also falls for her.

Kamel Helmy is a famous writer, in the late 1940s, living in Cairo, in the famous Imobilia building, after the death of his wife and the departure of his children from home. He suffers from loneliness and schizophrenia. One day he calls a girl named Samah who had befriended Facebook in an attempt to ease his isolation.

Mansoor, a 16 year-old teenager, living in a coastal "freej" (an Emirati neighborhood), has strong feelings for 16 year-old girl Kaltham. But culture and tradition, as well as family hardship, make it difficult for him to express his feelings. A conversation with his "know-it-all" friend convinces him that a gift is the best way to express love, and so, he begins to look for ways to save money for the gift without arousing the suspicion of his family and friends.

The film is an adaptation of the novel Samar Habib by Ismåeel Walieddin. author of Female Homosexuality in the Middle East: Histories and Representations. The main character, Ahmad, leaves rural eastern Egypt for the city hoping to become economically self-sufficient, gets an apartment for his parents, and obtains a law degree. He and his family are refugees from a town occupied by the Israeli army, Ismaåilia. Ali, the owner of the Malatily Bathhouse, offers to let him stay there for free. Ahmad encounters several characters there, including Naåeema, a prostitute who he becomes obsessed with, and Raouf, a homosexual man.

On a fishing trip, Adel takes his three friends, and while fishing they find a heavy bag. The three rush to pick it up, and find a shipment of drugs inside. Three gang members watch the situation from a distance, and when the friends reach the bag, the gang members intervene to seize the bag. At this point, police officer Lotfy appears and tries to arrest them.
