10 years ago on February 18th, 2013, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds marked an evolution in their music by releasing the album Push The Sky Away, a subtle and beautiful record that set the scene for ongoing sonic explorations ever since. To celebrate this anniversary, their performance at Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre, from February 21st, 2013, will be available worldwide to watch for free, for a limited time. The band played Push The Sky Away in full followed by a set of classic tracks in the week of release. The concert was streamed worldwide on the night, live on YouTube.

Noir rock hits ACL with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. The Australian group’s set ranges across their 30-year career, from their first album to their latest Push the Sky Away.

One of the human trio is Dick Fontaine, the director, a thin, long-haired youth who has put together this highly personal exercise on something or other that runs, mercifully, for 58 minutes and comes from an English group of movie folk called the Tattooists. The second visitor to the animal abattoir is a pretty girl. The third is a porky, middle-aged man addicted to the expression, "Ya know?" The two men carry on a running argument about whether they should make a picture about pigs. "Are we making a movie, ya know?" says Fatso. "Where is it, ya know?" Then a bit later: "I'm making a movie about pigs, ya know?"

In the Swedish city of Lethe, people from different walks of life take part in a series of short, deadpan vignettes that rush past. Some are just seconds long, none longer than a couple of minutes. A young woman remembers a fantasy honeymoon with a rock guitarist. A man awakes from a dream about bomber planes. A businessman boasts about success while being robbed by a pickpocket, and so on. The absurdist collection is accompanied by Dixieland jazz and similar music.

A pop singer who has been successful on Broadway, is homesick and returns.

Parallel Worlds is an experimental feature length music video. It stars real-life musicians and was made as a proof-of-concept for a live multimedia rock show still in development.

The Rake's Progress is an English-language opera from 1951 in three acts and an epilogue by Igor Stravinsky. The libretto, written by W. H. Auden and Chester Kallman, is based loosely on the eight paintings and engravings A Rake's Progress (1733–1735) of William Hogarth, which Stravinsky had seen on 2 May 1947, in a Chicago exhibition. Filmed in Aix-en-Provence, 1992.
