Flavio, immersed in the sadness of nostalgia and regret, faces his daily loneliness, seeking solace in the solitary ritual of smoking a cigarette. Each puff becomes a journey back in time, an immersion in a parallel dimension that brings to light the moments shared with Alberto. The warmth of those hugs, the echo of shared laughter and the tears that bathed their cheeks become present, as if they had just happened. Desperate for clients, Isabelle, the owner of a small bookstore, accepts the offer to teach Caetano, an elderly illiterate man, how to read. The lessons turn into conversations about life and the history about their lives, even with contrasting experiences and opportunities. She begins to see in the lessons and in the closeness with her student a vocation never explored before.

Young hobbit Frodo Baggins, after inheriting a mysterious ring from his uncle Bilbo, must leave his home in order to keep it from falling into the hands of its evil creator. All along, nefarious wizard Saruman awaits the Fellowship members at the Orthanc Tower in Isengard.

Two storytellers put forth their versions of the story of Shravan Kumar. The art for the film uses painted images from a wooden portable shrine called a Kaavad. The film is a collaborative work between traditional Kaavad storytellers and Kaavad artists from Rajasthan, together with the filmmaker. Combining lush animation with live-action, the film is an interpretation of two stories which are forever fused in the act of telling and retelling.

When timid bank clerk Stanley Ipkiss discovers a magical mask containing the spirit of the Norse god Loki, his entire life changes. While wearing the mask, Ipkiss becomes a supernatural playboy exuding charm and confidence which allows him to catch the eye of local nightclub singer Tina Carlyle.
