Filmmaker Talya Lavie steps into the spotlight with a dark comedy about everyday life for a unit of young female Israeli soldiers. The human resources office at a remote desert base serves as the setting for this cast of characters, who bide their time pushing paper, battling for the top score in Minesweeper, and counting down the minutes until they can return to civilian life. Amidst their boredom and clashing personalities, issues of commitment—from friendship to love and country—are handled with humor and sharp-edged wit.

Jack, on the verge of suicide, decides they need a fresh start and moves the family to New York. He quickly meets, marries, and moves in with Kathy, a mother of four, to try to fill the void. It doesn't. He needs some quixotic pursuit to keep him going. Kathy's stepdaughter Carmen gives him an idea: Sumo Wrestling. With Jack training, the kids start getting into trouble, Carmen tries to seduce Jack, Kathy's at her wits end... the family is falling apart. With his first match approaching, what can Jack do to do save his life and save his family?

The APC, in which he and his unit are riding, is hit by a Hamas rocket. Nony is the sole survivor. He comes back from Gaza a different person and is cared for by his parents and a military psychiatrist. After lengthy psychiatric treatment Nony starts to communicate again – only now he is convinced that he is ‘Amnon’, the deceased uncle for whom he was named. Amnon had been an unrecognized singer. Nony is not a singer and now he doesn’t even remember how to play. At first, when Nony performs, people laugh at this strange guy but then he becomes a phenomenon. When he is at the height of his success on the one hand, but also at the height of his mental disorder, Nony meets Hadas again.

A small Egyptian police band travels to Israel to play at the inaugural ceremony of an Arab arts center, only to find themselves stuck in the wrong town.

Benji, Bobby, and Huey are three 17 year olds who spend their days chasing girls and hanging out at Montana's Ice Cream Parlor. In their constant pursuit for sex, they are caught in the apartment of local nymphomaniac Stella by her boyfriend and get more than they bargained for from hooker Ze Ze! Meanwhile, Benji has fallen for new girl Nikki and is the only person who comes to her aid after Bobby gets her pregnant then dumps her.

It's the greasy 50's, and girls are still causing problems for the Lemon Popsicle boys! Benji falls head over heels in love with new girl Tammy but manages to ruin the relationship by pushing her to go all the way. Benji is the object of Martha's affections, even though she is dating Huey, and as usual Bobby is finding it hard to stay faithful to just one girl! Going Stead is set against a backdrop of sunlit beaches, moonlit nights... and Rock 'n' Roll!

Further adventures of Bobby, Benji, and Huey in their pursuit of sex in the 50's. While preparing for their final exams, they try to work out if it's better to be going steady with one girl, and if changing girlfriends all the time leads to too many complications. This leads to frustrations with girls who wont go all the way, and problems with girls will go all the way with anyone!

The Lemon Popsicle boys - Bobby, Benji, and Huey - have been drafted into the army, but they're not quite ready to give up the freedom they've enjoyed for so long and submit to army discipline. They spend most of their time chasing women, trying to get out of doing any work and avoiding their no-nonsense sergeant.
