Babylon 5: A Call to Arms

After their father is called into work, two young boys, Walter and Danny, are left in the care of their teenage sister, Lisa, and told they must stay inside. Walter and Danny, who anticipate a boring day, are shocked when they begin playing Zathura, a space-themed board game, which they realize has mystical powers when their house is shot into space. With the help of an astronaut, the boys attempt to return home.

An isolated Canadian town (populated by the weirdest group of people this side of Saturn) has seen its share of problems. First the nut factory closed, then the CATV antenna stopped broadcasting, and now something is gruesomely devouring the townsfolk! Can visiting atomic scientist (and expert on "cool fusion") Dr. Karel Lamonte solve the mystery before everyone disappears?

This leads him to renowned driller Harry Stamper, who agrees to helm the dangerous space mission provided he can bring along his own hotshot crew. An interstellar robot is stolen by the mysterious Leo Perlstein. College student Ben Samahon teams up with others linked with the robot's past to reacquire it before Leo obtains its unique power.

The leader of the Barbarians is a female battle warrior named Giza that wants their ship to use as her own chariot through time where she hopes to steal the ancient power of the Masha.
