Jorge Lorenzo Guerrero (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈxoɾxe loˈɾenθo ɣeˈreɾo]; born May 4, 1987 in Palma, Balearic Islands, Spain), is a Spanish professional motorcycle road racer who announced his retirement from road racing competition in late 2019. He won the 2006 and 2007 250cc World Championships, and the 2010, 2012 and 2015 MotoGP™ World Championship. In the premier class he rode exclusively for factory teams, riding for Yamaha from 2008 to 2016, for Ducati from 2017 to 2018, and for Repsol Honda in 2019. During a difficult 2019 plagued by major injuries, he announced that he would be retiring at the end of the 2019 season after only one year at Repsol Honda, cutting short his original contract. Mía is applying for a job as a photographer in Vic's studio, but she manages to show up when the hip, famous pro is having a really bad day: his model girlfriend Ana has just dumped him. He decides to leave Barcelona for 1,000 days and suggests that Mía take his place. This 1,000-day stint sets in motion all kinds of mini-stories, tales of love and romantic misadventure, creating concentric circles which fleetingly fill Vic's studio with the colorful characters who turn up for various photo shoots, modeling work and castings. The models let themselves be hauled through an artificially-created world, putting work before love, yet also seeking affection in an unreal world.

MotoGP 2019 Review

The Official Review of the 2019 MotoGP™ World Championship 2019 saw Marc Márquez take a record 420 points as he secured his eighth World title overall and his fourth consecutive MotoGP™ World Championship. It was also the year fans got to salute Jorge Lorenzo as the three-time World Champion called an end to his stellar MotoGP™ career. As one hero exited the pitlane, it looked as if another was entering. France’s Fabio Quartararo, aged just 20, took seven podium finishes and six pole positions in his first year of the premier class, securing fifth place in the World Championship overall. Andrea Dovizioso continued to impress on the Ducati and Maverick Viñales and Álex Rins led the charge for Yamaha and Suzuki respectively, so the season ended with four different manufacturers in the top four spots. MotoGP™ can always be relied on to deliver excitement and drama in spadefuls throughout the season and 2019 is certainly no exception.
