Profile

Baharak Salehniya is an Iranian actor who was born in 1985. She began studying film directing at Arak University in 2004 but dropped out due to a lack of opportunities for experimental works. She started acting in 2005, training with the late legendary performance maestro Hamid Samandarian and taking acting classes for film and television with Mehdi Fakhimzade. In 2006, she made her debut in Fakhimzade's TV series Scream Noiselessly (aka Bi Seda Faryad Kon), and she has since appeared in numerous feature films, TV series, and plays. She performed for renowned Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi on his masterpiece Mohammad: The Messenger of God in 2015. Born : 22nd-May-1985

Muhammad: The Messenger of God

Muhammad: The Messenger of God is an 2015 Iranian film directed by Majid Majidi. The story revolves around the childhood of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. The film marks Iran's biggest-budget production to date and is the first part of the planned trilogy on the life of the Prophet. Barring a few scenes filmed in South Africa, the majority of the filming was done at a colossal set created in the city of Qom near Tehran. The film was officially announced in October 2011 and its filming was completed by 2013. The cinematography is done by Vittorio Storaro and film score is composed by A. R. Rahman. The film was selected for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film at the 88th Oscar ceremony in 2016, but was excluded from the short list.

Magnolia

The story is about husband and wife who have a cold relationship. The wife is pregnant and the husband does not like to have a child and he is in doubt whether to tell her or not. In the meantime, the girl who is a photographer gets a project in a studio which is owned by a famous model. During her job, she finds out that the model (owner) has cancer and is depressed and waiting for his death. The girl gives him the hope and affection and tries to make friendly relationship with him. The husband got to know the relationship and thinks that she is cheating on him. He commits to killing her but if he could not succeed and during the police investigation, he tells his story but finds out that it was all misunderstanding.

Utopia

Mehrak - A five-star hotel located in Antalya, Turkey has been inherited by Ardeshir Rouhafza and his wife from his late uncle. The uncle’s attorney has suggested that they sell it. Both Ardeshir and his wife noticed that recently, the hotel and its personnel were under a disorderly condition due to not having a manager available. They decide to change this situation and not to make any hasty decisions. Meanwhile, their daughter and son-in-law anonymously enter the hotel accompanied by their children and after a few minutes from their arrival, they notice everything and try to inform the parents without creating a scene. On the other hand, the hotel personnel realize the consequences of their wrongful behavior and become worried about losing their jobs after the family meeting. Therefore, they decide to accept the attorney’s offer and convince the Rouhafza family to sell the hotel. If so, not only they would be able to keep their jobs, but also they would be rewarded with a generous commission. Nonetheless, the new owners decide to face each problem positively and not to withdraw. This is how the story begins.
