Hakim Rawther, known mononymously as Hakim, was an Indian actor and film maker in Malayalam cinema. He was known for his directional debut The Guard, which is the world's first film with only a single actor in the cast. He had also acted in supporting roles in several Malayalam movies. Kisan

Kissan movie tells Balaraman Thampuran is the feudal lord who rules the roost in Thekkeppatt Kovilakam. He is the personification of all that is evil with the feudal system. He is cruel and treats the peasants as his personal slaves, making them work on his farm lands for a pittance. Devan (Biju Menon) who is the son of Savithri who also belongs to the Kovilakam. He has just returned after higher studies in London. As per family tradition he is to marry the daughter of Balaraman. Devan believes all men are equal and must not be segregated along the lines of cast or creed. He renews friendship with Velu (Kalabhavan MAni) who is his childhood playmate, who belongs to the lowly Dalit class.

Thilakkam

Padmanabhan master and his wife are waiting for Unni, their only son who is missing for many years. 10 year old Unni got lost in the crowd during a temple festival where he was along with his neighbour Panikkar, popularly known as Poorappanikkar. Panikkar too did not return since he decided to return only after finding Unni. Ammu is Panikkar's daughter who also believes, like master and his wife, that her father will return one day with Unni. The master finds Unni and brings him back to the Village. The villagers realize that Unni is abnormal and is mentally challenged. He behaves like a small boy and creates all sorts of trouble for the villagers and his parents.

Mookkilla Rajyathu

The film starts by displaying an antic of Keshavan (Thilakan) who is an inmate of the Kakkanad Mental Hospital. Two other inmates are Benny (Mukesh) and Krishnankutty (Jagathy Sreekumar), along with the female inmate Philomena. By profession Benny is an artist, Krishnankutty is a mechanic and Keshavan had retired from military service. The late Hakeem Rawther too plays as an inmate in a cameo role. The trio chance to come across a newspaper report that Amitabh Bachchan is visiting Ernakulam City for film shooting, near the place they stay. They are soon joined by Venu (Siddique), as the brother of Balan (N.N.Balakrishnan) who takes him to the mental hospital. Venu is a good singer but has a compulsive obsession to singing. Driven by a desire to see Amitabh Bachchan the four of them manage to escape from the mental hospital that night by ripping off the cell warden Ameen (Mala Aravindan). However, Sundaresan cannot close his store and go with her, nor does he want Radhamani to go alone. In the argument that follows, Radhamani decides that she will go at any cost, and Sundaresan decides to go with her.
