Anant Nag is an actor and politician from Karnataka, India. He is considered to be one of the all time greatest actors in the Kannada film industry with a vast number of commercially successful movies. As a result, he is popularly known as an actor with no-failures, by critics. In addition to Kannada movies, he has acted in Marathi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi movies. He has also acted in Malgudi Days, directed by his younger brother Shankar Nag based on the stories by R.K.Narayan. His work was much appreciated by critics at that time. He is fluent in Kannada, Konkani, Marathi, Hindi and with a good understanding ofTamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The versatile natural acting coupled with the style of speaking (accent of southern kannada with a tint of coastal touch) made him one of the most successful actors in Kannada cinema. Born : Unknown

Gaalipata

However, following a few unusual twists and turns, the alliance is called off and the groom's family members walk out due to embarrassment. Ambika, who has now developed a strong feeling of love towards Bharath, goes ahead and confronts him. And finally, Bharath too says yes.

Bhakta Prahlada

It is a Hindu mythological film directed by Vijay, and based on the tale of Prahalada. The film stars Rajkumar, Saritha, Puneeth Rajkumar and Ananth Nag. The soundtrack was composed by T. G. Lingappa. The film won State Film Awards in Sound recording and cinematography categories. This was the fourth Kannada film on Prahlada after the 1942 film Bhakta Prahlada, the 1958 film Bhakta Prahlada and the 1960 film Dashavathara. Of the four films, this was the only one which was not shot in black and white. This movie was dubbed in Telugu as Narasimhaavataaram.
