Sven Joakim Eriksson Thåström växte upp på Skebokvarnsvägen 209 i Högdalen i Stockholm. Han var med och skapade bandet Helt Sonika som bestod av Thåström, Thomas Svanljung, Lars Elffors, Lennart "Elton" Hellgren, Bosse Steinholtz och Lars Bremer. Helt Sonika spelade runtom Stockholm på ungdomsgårdar, klubbar, utomhusfestivaler mm. Lennart Eriksson (eller Fjodor som han kallades) bodde i Rågsved. De bildade tillsammans med Gunnar Ljungstedt ("Gurra") ett band som hette The Haters. The Haters bytte dock redan efter tre dagar namn till Ebba Grön, som härstammar från en poliskod med anknytning till den s.k. Operation Leo, där den tyske terroristen Norbert Kröcher planerade att kidnappa dåvarande invandrarministern Anna-Greta Leijon. "Ebba röd" var polisens kod för den operation som gick ut på att gripa Kröcher. Då gripandet var fullbordat ropades "ebba grön" ut i radion. Thåström har en dotter från sitt första äktenskap vilket upplöstes 1998, och en son född 2000. I unga år hade han ett förhållande med skådespelaren Amanda Ooms. Paret återförenades efter flera år isär och är numera sambos. Born : 20th-Mar-1957

This year the festival had chartered their own plane from London to bring the coolest bands in Britain to Sweden, which prompted television personality Henrik Schyffert to quip "If this plane crashes the hottest band in England will be Marillion"

With four sold-out gigs at Cirkus in Stockholm, one of the year's most acclaimed and watched Swedish tours kicked off in 2012. The album Beväpna Dig Med Vingar, which came out earlier this year, has been praised in unison, among other things in the words of Jan Gradvall in DI - "One of Sweden's greatest artists throughout the ages at the absolute peak of their ability". To sum up this fantastic year, parts of the two concert nights are now being released, partly from Cirkus in Stockholm and also from Sentrum Scene in Oslo.

Ebba the Movie

The band 'Ebba Grön' is on tour. They were the most successful punkband in Sweden at the time and tried to have a sort of hardline attitude. In one sequence they play one of their songs in a little country church. The song is called 'Häng Gud' (Hang God).

Hagström: Everything in Music

"Hagström - Everything in Music" is a documentary about Albin Hagström who, based on his love of music, built an international empire with manufacturing accordions, guitars and amplifiers. Hagström started a variety of music stores, music schools, and published booklets. The headquarters were located in the small village of Älvdalen, Sweden, but already in the 1930s Hagström had a branch in the Rockerfeller Center in Manhattan. Among Hagström's customers and friends were Jimi Hendrix, Carl Jularbo, Frank Zappa, ABBA, Owe Thörnqvist. Larry Coryell and many others.

Skavlan

Self - Guest - Skavlan is a Norwegian-Swedish television talk show hosted by Norwegian journalist Fredrik Skavlan. It premiered in Sweden on Sveriges Television in January 2009, and the first guests to appear on the show were former Prime Minister of Sweden Göran Persson and his wife Anitra Steen. On 8 May 2009, it was announced that Skavlan had been renewed for a second season. It was also announced that the show would no longer only be produced by SVT in Sweden; Skavlan would now be partly produced in Norway by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. The first twelve episodes of Skavlan's second season were produced by SVT in Sweden, and the remaining twelve by NRK in Norway. Skavlan speaks Norwegian and his dialog is therefore subtitled in Swedish in Sweden, even though the two languages are quite similar and mutually intelligible. If the persons being interviewed by Skavlan are Swedish, he often tells them to let him know if they do not understand what he is saying. Swedish novelist Jan Guillou has criticized SVT for subtitling the program, stating "there is no need for that. If the host had been Danish, subtitling would have been necessary, but with a Norwegian host it does not make any sense."

Gästartist - På spåret is a popular Swedish TV game show broadcast on SVT since September 5, 1987. The show, which is intended to be humorous yet educational, has remained one of the most popular TV shows in Sweden, attracting an average of 2,150,000 viewers during the 2007 season. The all-time record was set in March 1990, when 3.7 million people tuned in to see the show. This means that nearly every second Swede saw the game show. På spåret is an original format developed by Ingvar Oldsberg for SVT, and he hosted the show for many years. Author and tennis legend Björn Hellberg was promoted from contestant to permanent Oldsberg sidekick in 1995 after winning for four straight seasons. Famous gourmet, restaurant-owner, and former contestant Carl-Jan Grankvist sat in for Hellberg during the 2004 season. In 2009, after 21 years, Oldsberg left and Kristian Luuk took over as the host. Björn Hellberg too decided to leave and was replaced with Fredrik Lindström.
