South Korean actress, producer, and film planner whose activity began in 1957. She was born in Daedeok, South Chungcheong province, Korea in 1940. While a student of Deokseong Girls' High School, Kim was cast to Kim Ki-young's film, Hwanghon yeolcha (황혼열차) in 1957. Kim has been commonly dubbed "Elizabeth Taylor of Korea" by the South Korean news media for her resemblance with the American actress' appearance and popularity as well as her many marriages and divorces Born : 15th-Jul-1940

A Bout in 30 Years

Best friends Dae-gyu and Dal-su fight over Ok-hi. When Ok-hui marries and goes to Seoul the fight ends. After many years, Ok-hi is widowed and brings her daughter Ji-hyang to her home village, and the fight between Dae-gyu and Dal-su begins again. Ok-hui borrows some money from Dal-su when she is short of money while building a reservoir for the village. Dal-su lends money on the condition that she marry him if she cannot pay him back until the ground-breaking ceremony. And Dal-su's wife leaves. As Ok-hui fails to return the money, she tries to run away with Dae-gyu, but they run into Min, Dal-su's son, who demands them to pay back his father's money. Finally Dae-gyu and Dal-su meet and have a fight, but at last Dal-su sends him to Ok-hi, and he is happy to do so.

The Earth

Ha Dong, Kyung Nam Province in 1890. Choi Chi-Su's family is a grand land lord of the region from generation to generation. Later Hwan becomes a servant of Choi family but he falls in love with Chi-Su's wife and they flee by night. The Way to Seoul

A major of the South Korean army is taken prisoner during the Korean War (1950-1953). He attempts to escape but a guard shoots him. But a woman appears to save him. She is a student studying at Kim Il-Sung University. While his wound gets healed, he falls in love with her. She is also an anti-Communist. When he becomes healthy again, he sneaks into the Pyeongyang concentration camp to rescue three South Korean soldiers even though she strongly objects. He successfully carries out his mission and they set out for Seoul. But there are a lot of dangers waiting for them on their way.
